Instead of “jumping” off the intended line, the wheels can flex radially and move with the rider’s momentum and the bike’s direction, rather than fight it. This is often referred to as the wheels' “tracking” ability. The forgiving responsiveness allows riders to start increasing tyre pressure again as the wheels contribute to better traction, improving acceleration and rolling speed, and reducing tyre rebound.
