| Sun 13th Oct 2019 13:28

The Blackout edition of Polygon's Siskiu N9 has been made specifically for New Zealand and is strictly limited to 50 bikes. It's got a fancy fern and parts that punch way above its pay grade. The Polygon Siskiu N9 Blackout Edition is an aggressive, agile and fast bike for the rider who wants something to eat up bumps on the trail.

Designed to be ridden in the most demanding of conditions.

From flowy singletrack and technical trails to jump tracks and all-day epics, Polygon Siskiu N9 rides everything and rides everything well at a price that won't break the bank.

First Impressions

The Polygon Siskiu N9 was at home on anything from jumps tracks to steep descents, a real do it all."

I found the N9 to be a super intuitive and natural feeling bike, I was stoked to be able to get on it straight out of the box and ride it, it didn't feel like the first ride on a new bike at all. I was really happy with the geometry of the bike, unlike other brands they haven't gone all in on the LONG and super slack reach and head angles, this is a bike for the masses that's suitable in a range of terrain, not just a bike for the pro team to ride.

The bike climbed really well with the shock in the climb mode, and it was super awesome on descents, the combination of the well spec'd suspension and tire choice means this bike absolutely hugs the ground, its like its on rails.

I was also surprised at how playful it was for a 29er, riders no longer have to be afraid that their 29er will not corner well or jump as well as a 27.5". The bike was at home on anything from jumps tracks to steep descents, a real do it all.

Favourite thing? The color. Its black, on black, with a little hint of black, you wont get sick of it!
