Your new bike is your Pride and Joy, why not make it uniquely yours and add some simple customization to it. Follow this guide to see how

You've just dropped some hard earned cash on a new ride, feeling stoked you hit the local bike park to shred some gnar.

You pedal up the access track ready to drop in and who turns up, it's your best mate Cindy and wait she has a new bike too!

Hold up! Backup there a bit... No way, she has the same bike as you! Exactly the same bike as you!

No no one wants to look like a tourist couple off a cruise ship rocking matching tracksuits!

You need to

Gone are the days where you needed to sell a limb to afford a set of King or Hope hubs in your favourite colour. Follow these easy cost effective steps to customise and pimp your bike so that not only do you look good shredding but your bike does too!

First things first Pick a theme
Most bikes nowadays will come with a secondary or third colour to the base paint colour, pick one of these colours and go with it, but you will need to be careful not to go overboard unless this is what you want. Your bike might not even come in a colour, it may be stealth black, this can look cool too by subtly introducing some colour or blacking the bike out further. Now onto those steps:

Step 1 - Bin those grips

The grips that came with your bike were likely not the grips of your dreams anyway. Deity comes with an amazing range of lock-on grips in many different colours, they look great and are comfortable also.

If Deity is not your cup of tea we stock many other brands of grips and bar tape that are available in custom colours, you will even be able to pimp your roadie! Check out our range.

Step 2 - Protect your frame and give it style

Dyedbro does universal frame protection kits that fit most bikes. While they offer a clear kit why not go with a pattern or design to match your theme? With more and more kits becoming available all the time you can easily get your bike looking the way you want as well as providing protection and keeping its paint job looking mint!

What ever your style, Dyedbro has a frame protection kit to match your colour scheme. Personalize your ride with a Dyedbro wrap and make your whip unique.

Step 3 - Marsh Guard

You were going to get one of these anyway, why not get one to match your theme!

Marsh Guards come in a huge range of colours and are compatible with virtually all mountain bikes.

Follow these easy 3 steps and you will be sorted, you will be the envy of your mates and you will have a bike that is custom to yourself with little additional cost.

But why stop at 3 steps, especially if you have some extra pocket money. There are many other ways you can customise your ride from handlebars, stems and pedals to Tanwall tyres - that looks sick!

As always come chat to the friendly team at Evo Cycles and they will help you with your dream bike!
