A 2020 Giant Reign Advanced Pro 29 0.
I’ve always ridden (and loved) Giant Trances. Giant’s a reliable brand and gives good bang for your buck, so I was curious to try something different that would feel absolutely rad downhill over technical trails, and the Reign is a beast. Plus, look at it – it’s glorious!
I injured my shoulder just as the Reign arrived, so presently I love looking at it and dreaming about what it’ll be like to ride. And because it’s a dream with my optimal outcome, it’s like riding a unicorn and my skills magically increase to pro levels.
I like to have bedding-in time with a new bike, getting the fit and feel just right, before deciding whether to make changes, but if anything, I’ll upgrade to SRAM Eagle AXS shifting.
