It's that time of year again and new bikes are being announced left, right and centre. In this blog we introduce the 2021 line up of Kona MTB's and Electric MTB's, plus, a sneaky Jake the snake CX bike for good measure. These bikes will being arriving at Evo come spring 2020, so watch this space!

Sure, the bikes in our previous launch article were pretty fun and it’s always exciting to see the latest bikes, regardless of what they are. This time around we take a quick look at some completely new MTB models as well as some revamped favourites.

2021 Kona Process X Platform

Coming in HOT! Completely new for 2021 the Process X is a heavy hitting rig for big mountain enduro or smashing bike park laps. With 162mm rear travel and a 170mm up front, high-speed chunder, square edge hits and gap-to-flat’s are no match for this rig. Designed for the modern Enduro racer (think alpine peaks and highspeed), you know it ticks the “long, slack & low” boxes. Specced race ready straight from the box, there’s no need to spend extra money to get either of the Process X bikes ready for the start gate. Frames are full carbon, with adjustable chainstay length, and can be run with the stock 29”, or a 27.5” rear wheel.

2021 Kona Process 153 Platform

The Process 153 range gets a bit of love for ‘21 with revamped geometry and tubing that is a hybrid of the Process X and Process 134, making them lighter and more streamlined than previous. Rear suspension gets upgraded kinematics, making it more progressive for a more bottomless feel. The bike’s 153mm of rear travel remains, couple this with the 160mm fork you’ve got a bike burly enough for big mountain enduro races or laps of the local bike park, regardless if you want the stability and grip of a 29” wheel, or the pop and playfulness of 27.5” wheels, there’s an option for you.
