The SG-S7051-11 internally geared hub is designed for use on touring, city and e-bikes with Center Lock disc brakes. A shift servo and a power modulator facilitate operation.

Inter-11:

11-speed gear hubs from Shimano with Inter-11 technology are designed for disc brakes. They feature helical gearing for a smooth and comfortable ride. The roller clutch enables low-noise operation. The needle bearing delivers high drive efficiency as well as durability and is very easy to maintain. Inter-11 gear hubs are characterised by a wide gear ratio range, which makes them suitable for different types of terrain.

Gear Change Support:

Gear Change Support is a shift servo technology on Shimano gear hubs. It ensures that you can downshift quickly, precisely and without using a lot of force, as it uses part of the pedal force for this process. The pedal force acts against the shift cylinder to overcome its counterpressure and execute the gear change. The shifting force is thus reduced by 40 %.
