With the arm set weighing in at a svelte 488 grams, the Gen2 Girder Carbon is raising the game and ready to cause a ruckus. For this new generation we sculpted the arm shape for improved clearance and fit on a wider variety of mountain frames. So grab a Girder to tame the toughest courses and when the dust settles it just might be podium-time.
Mind Your Bearings
We take our bottom brackets seriously… so you know the Girder Carbon will spin silky smooth from the start. Install it with our M30 family of BB’s. We offer M30 BB’s to fit almost every frame spec from BSA threaded, BB90/92, BB30, PF30, to T47 MTN frames.
Choose Your Ring
With all the different MTN frame types requiring different chain lines, combined with many riders preferring oval shaped rings or colors, we wanted to make things easier for you. So we updated the Girder arms to align with the industry spacing for the common DM ring offsets. This now allows you to run any brand/type/style of 3-bolt DM ring and get the correct chain line. On the backside of the G2 Girder drive side arm you’ll see a sticker showing offset options and the chain line your frame needs.
Wave Tech
When you purchase the G2 Girder, you can also choose to add a direct mount Wave Tech ring. The ring tooth pattern swings right to left alternating lateral force to each chain link to actively retain the chain. This design creates more open areas for mud and debris evacuation and ensures chain retention in even the most adverse conditions. Our Direct Mount Wave Tech rings are sold separately and are 10/11 and 12sp compatible.
