The Checkpoint SL 6 eTap is a carbon gravel bike designed to take you to places you'd never reach on a standard road bike. A lightweight OCLV Carbon frame with gravel-smoothing IsoSpeed, a smart and smooth SRAM Rival AXS wireless electronic drivetrain, nimble-yet-stable progressive geometry and internal storage and loads of mounts make this bike a true gravel powerhouse and a great choice for serious all-road adventurers.

NEW BIKE DAY

Durand has been waiting a while for this one! After placing an order at the start of 2022, it wasn't until July it arrived in NZ due to global manufacturing and shipping constraints brought on by Covid-19. Now that the wait is over, and the bike is built up, he's excited to throw a leg over and put the bike through it's paces.

While this bike is designed predominantly for gravel adventures, it serves just as well as a fast and versatile commuter. Based in Nelson, Durand has access to a massive network of local cycle trails as well as an expansive forestry road network. This bike will get a thrashing on everything from pavement to single track, and every gravel road in between!
