Built for riders obsessed with speed, performance, and capability, the new Pique X Advanced SL is engineered to deliver. The flip chip lets you dial in your geometry for any terrain. And with in-frame storage, 130mm fork and 120mm semi-integrated FlexPoint Pro rear suspension, you’re ready for anything, from aggressive climbs and chunky descents, to gutsy lines and all-day epics.
Built for speed
The new Advanced SL-grade composite frame is the lightest we’ve ever designed, achieving exceptional stiffness-to-weight so you can punch up climbs, shoot out of corners, and sprint to the next section without hesitation. Tuned specifically for downcountry adventures, the reengineered FlexPoint Pro Suspension is lighter, more compact, and more responsive.
Built for performance
The Pique X Advanced SL is designed as a single optimized system. The new one-piece handlebar-stem with fully integrated cable routing keeps things light, clean, and responsive. Giant WheelSystems with Wide Guard rims give you robust sidewalls so you can run lower tire pressure for extra grip and puncture protection.
Built for fun
The updated FlexPoint Pro suspension system offers 120mm of smooth, active rear-wheel travel, paired with a 130mm fork, keeping you glued to the trail when it’s rowdy, and efficient when it’s not. The two-position flip chip lets you adjust your geometry for the perfect handling for the terrain. And with built-in down tube storage, you’re ready to fix and fuel.
Advanced SL Composite Technology
Professional-grade raw carbon is woven in Giant Group’s composite factory using the most advanced engineering and construction methods. Continuous Fiber Technology adds strength and minimizes weight.
FlexPoint Pro Suspension
Engineered for XC efficiency, control, and responsive handling, this 120mm single-pivot system is semi-integrated beneath the top tube with a full-composite swingarm to minimize weight while maximizing traction on technical terrain. Unlike other single-pivot designs, FlexPoint Pro isolates suspension performance from frame flex, eliminating unwanted resistance so every bump is absorbed exactly as intended. The result is smoother small-bump sensitivity, more consistent control, and a more efficient ride.
Adjustable Geometry
A two-position flip chip lets you adjust frame geometry and fine-tune the handling to match your riding style and terrain. The High setting steepens the head and seat tube angles and raises the bottom bracket for sharper, more aggressive handling, while the Low setting slackens the angles and lowers the bottom bracket to add stability and confidence on high-speed, technical descents.
Integrated Down Tube Storage
A built-in storage compartment with a removable tool roll bag keeps ride essentials—tools, tubes, snacks—secure and organized inside the frame. It’s a clean, convenient way to leave the pack behind and stay streamlined on longer rides.
Ratchet Drive System
A 10° helical interface between the hub and ratchet rings ensures smooth, consistent power transfer while reducing stress on internal components. The 120-tooth helical ratchet rings deliver rapid 3° engagement for instant response and precise power.
Integrated Cockpit
Bikes feature either the carbon Contact SLR XC or alloy Contact SL XC integrated handlebar-stem. Both share a 780 mm width, –8° stem angle, 9° backsweep, and 2° upsweep, providing full internal cable routing for a clean, race-focused setup. The 780 mm width delivers confident control on technical courses and can be easily cut for a custom fit.
