A 1x8 speed MICROshift drivetrain fitted to the excellent Splash hydro formed alloy frame with full internal routing, The Splash Sport is hard to beat for value. Tubeless ready wheels, an integrated kickstand mount, suspension fork, tapered headset and progressive trail geometry completes the BIC Sport.
The Splash SLD platform received major R&D and has been completely reinvented.
Bringing top-end features to the recreational rider at the right price. Featuring our POP geometry as piloted on the Slade, the Stride range is a confident descender that handles like a proper trail bike. 1x drivetrains, internal routing, tubeless ready wheels and tyres, integrated kickstand mounts, tapered headsets and progressive trail geometry are unseen in this class making the Stride range a true BIC offering.
Hydro-formed 6061 Alloy frame
The Stride features a class leading frame. Trickle-down technology means that the new frame benefits from our leading platforms. The frame tubes are hydro-formed into complex shapes to increase strength and stiffness, minimizing weight and excess material use. All Stride frames are now internal dropper post ready.
Pop geometry
Position of Power -Geometry designed to engage bigger muscle groups in pedalling, producing more power output for the same amount of input. Longer frame places the rider forward, in a more balanced position, improving grip on the rear on climbs and on the front on descents. A longer wheelbase and slacker head angle means more control at speed.
Responsive Short chainstays
Short chainstays coupled with Pop geometry means that the Stride is more nimble through corners, yet retains overall stability.
Silverback Ladies Design - SLD
Silverback Ladies Design means that the bike is set up to better suit women's anatomy and body proportions. This on the Sola means narrower handlebars, thinner grips, adjusted gear ratios, shorter stem and a women's specific saddle.
Disc brakes
All strides come with disc brakes. Disc brakes offer dependable all weather performance over rim brakes.
Quality suspension forks
All Stride bicycles are fitted with purpose chosen 100mm suspension forks. A suspension fork improves comfort and traction on a hardtail mountain bike.
Kickstand mount
An integrated kickstand mount in the left rear chainstay, makes the addition of a kickstand neat and uncomplicated. We suggest using the Speedkit kickstand for non e-bikes. The disc Brake calliper mounted inside rear triangle to protect it from environmental damage, while also acting like a brace, improving strength around the dropout and kickstand mount.
Internal Routing
Cables are fed in via the DT to cable exits under the DT. Cable routing is quick and easy, making installation a breeze. Internal routing keeps the bike neat and clutter free, and means that cables are protected from impact damage. Full length cable housings also means less dirt ingression into the system, meaning less maintenance.
Tapered headtube
A Tapered headtube increases front-end stiffness and directly influences steering feel and precision. This also means that the Stride range is compatible with all modern forks, if you would want to upgrade your suspension.
Low standover
Low standover means that the bike can comfortably be ridden by both male and female riders, giving more room for movement. This improves control and confidence on the sections of the more technical trail. Lower standover height also allows for a longer dropper post to be used. Strides are internal dropper compatible.
1x Drivetrains
Silverback fits 1x drivetrains to as many bikes as we can. 1x offers less maintenance, is more intuitive to use and offers a wider gear range than 3x groupsets. We spec our 32t 1x N/W chainrings in favour of climbing prowace, over flat terrain top speed. Everyone can benefit from easier climbing.

Please note that our specifications may be impacted by manufacturer component substitution changes caused by high global demand for bikes and resulting supply chain issues in the bike industry. We recommend confirming the specifications with your local Evo Cycles showroom if you have any questions.
Bike Weight: Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on frame size, finish, hardware and accessories. The most accurate way to determine any bike's weight is to have your local showroom weigh it for you.
