The go-everywhere, do-anything workhorse
The Process 134 DL is the smaller-wheeled sibling to Kona's Process 134 DL 29. Built around a Kona 6061 aluminum frame, it features the same high-end components, including RockShox’s all-new Pike Select 140mm travel fork and Deluxe Ultimate rear shock. Our improved anti-squat and a SRAM GX/NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain make climbing a breeze. The Process 134 DL is the perfect go-everywhere bike.
Kona 6061 aluminium
Kona 6061 aluminium is a tough, durable, light alloy, delivering fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of the tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing’s wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so that Kona can fine-tune a particular frame’s strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application.
Internal headset
Bearing cups are pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible.
Tapered head tube
More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going – into the lower headset cup – maximising bearing durability where it’s needed.
Tubeless compatible rims
Tubeless rims allow for tyres with more puncture resistance and offer the ability to run lower tyre pressure, which provides better grip on the trail. They also lower rolling resistance and save weight over traditional tube and tyre systems.
12x148mm axle
12x148 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: The 12mm diameter provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 148 outer hub diameter allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. The 12x148 boost spacing also provides more tyre clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle.
Beamer Independent Suspension
Built to be off-the-top progressive, Beamer Independent Suspension helps the bike stay higher in the travel and recover from hits more quickly. Designed to be highly tuneable and extremely durable, the Beamer is Kona's version of greased lightning.
27.5" wheels
The benefits of the 27.5-inch wheel are simple: They roll over obstacles and track better than 26-inch wheels, but are more manoeuvrable and nimble than 29-inch ones.

Please note that our specifications may be impacted by manufacturer component substitution changes caused by high global demand for bikes and resulting supply chain issues in the bike industry. We recommend confirming the specifications with your local Evo Cycles showroom if you have any questions.
Bike Weight: Many brands strive to list the lowest possible weight, but in reality weight can vary based on frame size, finish, hardware and accessories. The most accurate way to determine any bike's weight is to have your local showroom weigh it for you.
