The ultimate kids' first mountain bike
E-250MTB | Ages: 3 - 5 Years | Height: 85 - 102cm
Ability level: Learning to ride their first bike.
Push, run or pedal – This is three bikes in one! With a detachable push handle, low ergonomic frame and ultralight weight, learning to ride on or off-road has never been easier.
With rolling dynamics 30% superior to other bikes, and custom-fitted knobby tyres for all weather and even the toughest conditions, the E-250MTB is the best first mountain bike experience for your budding champion.
Design
By considering shoulder width, riding position, safety and comfort, ByK has created a light, easy-to-ride and ergonomic design that ensures a great fit. The saddle is also padded and matches the size of small children's bodies, allowing them to ride comfortably and in the correct position.
Performance
With a lightweight alloy ergonomic frame and low-gravity concept, the E-250MTB is about 30% more efficient than comparative kids' bikes. And light wheels make pedalling easier – professional bike riders insist on them, so why shouldn't our kids, too? It's also one of the lightest bikes for this age group and has custom-fitted knobby tyres to help your future champion MTB rider make it over the tough terrain.
Safety
Young riders need to be able to brake efficiently and confidently to be safe. On the front, ByK has used an alloy side-pull calliper for developing immediate hand control, with a coaster brake for simple and safe foot braking at the rear.
The custom-sized V-Brake – made of non-flexing, strong and light alloy – is calibrated for age, ability and ergonomic fit. Lightweight alloy rims ensure easier pedalling, and more importantly, they provide a more efficient braking surface than cheaper, chrome-plated steel rims, and are therefore safer.
