This bike redefines children's bikes for innovation and excellence. From the smooth handling long wheelbase to the ultra-efficient tall wheels, safe braking with a footbrake and two calibrated alloy handbrakes, every component has been carefully selected. Just 8+kgs.
Design
A well-designed frame weighing less than 1kg is at the heart of the E350, making it light and easy to ride. Small children have a narrow pelvis, so the saddle is padded and matches the size of their body, ensuring that they ride in comfort and the correct position.
Performance
Lightweight, alloy wheels make pedalling easier and the smooth, faster-rolling tyres don't wear out little legs as quickly as BMX bikes with wide, knobby tyres. At just over 8kgs, the E350 is approximately 30% more efficient than comparative bikes.
Safety
Riders need to be able to brake efficiently and confidently. ByK has used an alloy side-pull front calliper for developing immediate hand control, and a coaster brake allows simple and safe foot-braking at the rear.
The front and rear callipers are made of alloy with light action for superior control. The custom-sized alloy V-brakes are non-flexing, strong, light, and calibrated for age, ability and ergonomic fit. Lightweight alloy rims ensure easier pedalling, but more importantly, they provide a more safe and efficient braking surface than cheaper, chrome-plated steel rims.
