BBS-45 - DISCSTOP All material mixtures are specially designed according to the type of brake. For the best braking performance and temperature resistance, use the right type of plate! For models where replacement springs are required Compatible: Hayes HFX-Mag and HFX-9 series hydraulic, Promax hydraulic and Promax mechanical MX1.

Metal brake pads

  • Great for wet weather riding. if you often riding in wet conditions, a metal brake pad will outperform an organic pad.
  • Lasts longer than organic pads and handles heat better.
  • Consistent feel in all riding conditions.

Resin Brake Pads

  • Much quieter than metal brake pads, the Softer material allows the brake to be quieter.
